howdy!!

how's everybody been!?!?

i literally haven't written or read a blog in WEEKS!

and i'm still (happily) overwhelmed at work! the campaign is going great. we've raised approximately $50K in one month. we are a very small npo, so for us, this is significant and is already 5 times as much as the npo made last YEAR in donations (no one was working there at that time, and I began managing the organization in January of this year).

sooo! if you know anything about npos, you know often times they are under-staffed! so i've been the primary person not only opening all of the mail we are receiving and sorting the donations, but also making copies of all the checks, counting the funds, making the deposits, entering thousands of donors into the database, then doing all the data entry for the deposits (sometimes 1 deposit data entry session takes up to 3 hours), still doing the daily activities required for the npo, still helping to organize a summit in D.C. for the parent npo, yadda yadda etc etc! but i seriously love my job, so it's all good. the fact that I am inundated with work is an excellent sign that we are succeeding.

anyways! i still take pictures of most of my outfits. i would need to do quite a bit of uploading and editing to share any of them. i might find a few pics of my favorite get-ups of the past few weeks and share those with you! not sure when, though! along with work, there's the usual holiday projects (lots of baking! shopping! decorating! wrapping! christmas carding!)
