today's outfit was inspired in part by a mail piece I received

from Express about a week ago, and also by

Diana at Simple Elegance

I've been wanting to do a vest with a bright belt over it

and here is my attempt!

i'm part beefjerkey indjian (yes, that's right)

so you know. that explains the earrings.

(that's a rather deep inside joke.

i expect almost no one to get it.)

same necklace i wore yesterday!

i wore because i had REALLY wanted to wear blue shoes.

but i don't have blue shoes that color.

i've been looking for some for several months now,

to no affordable avail.

boy am i glad it's Thursday!

i got my crown yesterday and after my drooly afternoon,

i was able to eat dinner, though nothing especially crunchy.

i'm a tiny bit sensitive and paranoid today too

(as far as chomping on food goes), but I'm sure

I'll get over it soon!
