Because I can!!
Haha!
i'm liking the bright colors today.

brighter shoes were not going to work with this outfit today...
but believe me I tried!

almost Friday!

i think today my friend and i are going to
venture to Crave for lunch,
a thai food restaurant on the drag.
very much looking forward to it!

How fun! They go together very well and it really highlights the yellow ruffles. Cool bracelet!

Today I am looking forward to *hopefully* finishing putting together the card set I am making to give to my mom!

I love that yellow dress, and I never would have thought to pair it under a wrap dress. It looks so great!

Today I'm looking forward to watching some more Flight of the Conchords with the husband. And since we're eating last night's leftovers, no cooking! :0)

Love the belt and bracelet, and the fabric of the dress you're wearing on top looks lovely.

Do you find it uncomfortable when you layer clothes like that? I'm not sure I'd be successful putting shirts or other dresses underneath.

In this case, the dress underneath was so lightweight I didn't really feel like I was wearing 2 dresses. plus, it's sleeveless. as i tell my friend Amy all the time, particularly in the Texas heat, i'm usually okay in a skirt or a dress because it allows for more air/breeze than pants and i generally feel cooler that way. also, inside the building where i work it tends to get quite chilly, so layering for the office is wise on most occassions. i guess my point is i like the option of layering because it CAN keep me warm, but if I'm going to do it in the summer there should be something about the outfit that allows for breathing room if you will!

Thanks, good to know.
Layering for a chilly office keeps me permanently challenged too!
